Our Story

Orient Translating was founded in 2015 in Saint Petersburg — from the realisation that the city's translation market was full of agencies operating on a "fast and cheap" basis at the expense of quality. We chose a different approach: professional translators, honest deadlines and genuine accountability for results.

We started with notarial document translation — the most in-demand service for those applying for visas, residency or studying abroad. We gradually expanded: written and oral translation, apostille and localisation and migration consulting. We opened a second office in Moscow near Belorusskaya metro.

Today our network includes more than 50 translators and specialists — staff and trusted contractors we have worked with for years. Each specialises in their own field: legal, medical, technical or humanities. This allows us to take on projects of any complexity.

Over 10 years we have completed more than 5,000 translations for private clients, companies and government bodies. Our core principle has not changed since day one: if a translation is rejected due to our error — we redo it free of charge.
