Types of Interpretation

The type depends on your event format and needs

Consecutive
Consecutive Interpretation
The interpreter listens to a segment of speech, then translates it. Ideal for negotiations, small group meetings, court hearings and medical consultations — where accuracy matters and there is no rush.
Used for: negotiations, court, notary, medical appointments, official meetings
Simultaneous
Simultaneous Interpretation
The interpreter works simultaneously with the speaker — listeners receive the translation in real time. Requires specialist equipment and highly qualified interpreters. Suitable for conferences and large events.
Used for: conferences, forums, presentations, seminars
Important: book in advance. Interpreters are matched to your specific task and date — availability depends on the language, subject matter and schedule. We recommend booking at least 2–3 days before your event.

Interpreter for Any Occasion

Oral interpretation is a very different profession from written translation. A good written translator will not necessarily cope with oral: it requires instant reaction, composure under pressure and experience in a specific field. A legal interpreter in court and a medical interpreter at a doctor's appointment are different specialists with different terminology.

We match the interpreter precisely to your task — with subject-matter expertise in the relevant industry. For court hearings this is especially important: an inaccurate interpretation in court can affect the outcome of a case — which is why we work only with interpreters with confirmed legal experience.

For simultaneous interpretation at conferences, specialist equipment may be required — an interpreter booth and receivers for listeners. We help organise everything needed or work with the client's own equipment.

We work with 40+ languages — English, German, French, Finnish, Chinese, Arabic, Uzbek, Tajik, Armenian and others. For rare languages the time needed to find an interpreter may be longer — we recommend booking in advance.

We provide interpreters in Saint Petersburg and Moscow — the interpreter travels to your venue in either city.

Frequently Asked Questions

If you have more questions — call us or leave a request

Price depends on the language, interpretation type (consecutive or simultaneous), subject matter and duration. Simultaneous is more expensive — it requires higher qualifications and often two interpreters in rotation. Leave a request with details — we will provide an exact price once requirements are confirmed.
We recommend booking at least 2–3 business days in advance — this gives us time to find the right specialist. For rare languages or highly specialised topics (e.g. technical negotiations or conference simultaneous) please book 1–2 weeks ahead.
Yes, court interpreters must have legal interpretation experience and understand court procedure. The court may ask the interpreter to confirm their qualifications. We provide interpreters with proven court experience — please mention this when placing your request.
The interpreter comes to your venue — your office, meeting room, court, hospital or any location in Saint Petersburg or Moscow. Travel outside these cities is arranged separately.
